Canada Goverment Adding visa outsourcing in more countries.

Canadian government has added their Canadian Embassy in China to outsource visas to VFS Global Services Pvt. Ltd. Already India is one of the countries where Canadian visas were outsourced to private company to ease the load on the Canadian embassy staff.
The federal government is outsourcing the processing of visa applications to reduce the work load at some of its busiest embassies around the world recently.

From last week the outsourcing firm is accepting visa applications for temporary visitor permits to Canada from Chinese citizens on behalf of the Canadian Embassy in China. Last year nearly 700 people were issued with visas each month by the visa officers of Canada Embassy, making the embassy as one of the busiest one.

The outsourcing company will charge $35 as logistic fee for their service from visa applicants.

Canadian embassy is in Beijing which issues the visas while the service provider is providing this their service in the Chinese cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chongqing making easy for the applicant to apply easily near to their homes without traveling long distance.
it is expected that the Canadian Embassy in Indonesia will follow to outsource the visa application processing.
