How to sponsor your relatives.

If you are living legally in a developed country and you may be a citizen of that country, legal PR holding resident, temporary worker or student. And you want to sponsor your close relatives to bring them to the country where you are currently living.

Spouse, children, parents, brothers and sisters are given preference in order to immigrate in many developed countries. You can do all the form works or you can get assistance from professionals like Immigration lawyers, Law firms, Immigration consultants or visa advisors.

To sponsor a close relative to live permanently or visit you for a period time you must have the following things ready on your side.

1. First of all you must have a good permanent job, and you must have proof for that by providing wages paper, pay sheet. And if possible get a letter from your working place in their letter head, with contact detail of the manger, owners.
2. You must have a good saving from your job and must have proof for that by getting bank report for the last 6 months of your accounts.
3. You must be a tax payer for your earned income, for this your income tax file number is necessary to proof it.
4. You must have a Living place for the coming close relative with privacy. For example if your father is coming to your home, you must have a room for him to stay alone with privacy. He can't share place with you or your children.To proof this you must show the house ownership. Or must get a permission letter from the landlord.
5. Prepare an invitation letter for the immigration officer requesting him to issue the necessary visa to the relative and certify it through a lawyer, stating that this letter was signed by you.
6. Get all the proof of relationship by original birth certificates, marriage certificates. Get these certificates too to be certified by authorities.
7. Submit the necessary documents copy to proof your citizen ship, PR status or valid visas.
8. If the relatives are coming for any functions or special occasions get the documents proof for that event, and also state why that relative's presence is necessary.

Make all arrangements and documents early as possible, as it may take long time to process these kind of visas in some countries.
