Immigration processing time in Canada.

Immigration processing time in Canada is becoming legnthy as per report of an opposition MP. The period incrased by 20% when comapring to the yar 2004. Also some country applications are processed quicker than th others.

Liberal MP Jim Karygiannis also found out that a skilled worker's application can be processed within 14 months of time in Lima and 15 months of time in Paris but this take an application around 71 months if he is from Kyiv.

As per the report 80% of the cass were processed within 62 months priod. It was 43 months in the year 2004. 80% of the cass were processed within 14 months in Lima, 15 months in Paris, 31 months in Vienna, 54 months in London, 59 months in Rome, 62 months in New Delhi, 63 months in Islamabad, 64 months in Beijing and 71 months in Kyiv

In the mean time spokesman for Immigration Minister Diane Finley said that the dependent children cases were completed 50% within seven months in 2004 and 80% within eighteen months. By 2006 80% cases were completed within 18 months time priod.
