Each year, 1150 places are available under this scheme allowing young citizens of Malaysia to stay in New Zealand for up to six months.

2016/2017 quota: The 2016/2017 quota opened 20 January 2016 and is now full. Further places will become available in January 2017.

Online application: Applications for this scheme must be made online by following the link in the 'How do I apply?' section below. You will need a valid Visa or Mastercard credit card. This is the only way to pay for your online application.

Working Holidays for Americans in NZ.

There are unlimited places available annually under this scheme, allowing young citizens of the United States of America to stay in New Zealand for up to 12 months.

Applications for this scheme must be made online by following the link in the 'How do I apply?' section below. If you are applying from outside New Zealand, there is no application fee or immigration levy. If you are applying from within New Zealand, there is an application fee and immigration levy and you will need a valid Visa or Mastercard credit card. This is the only way to pay for your online application.

Travel and work in Canada

International Experience Canada (IEC) provides young individuals the opportunity to travel and work in Canada. IEC is available in countries and territories that have a bilateral youth mobility agreement with Canada. If your country of citizenship does not have an agreement with Canada, you may be able to use a Recognized Organization to come to Canada under IEC.
