High Commissions Details

What is the difference between an Embassy and a High commission? A permanent Diplomatic mission is called as embassy and head of the Embassy is called as Ambassador. While a High Commission is a Diplomatic mission between commonwealth countries and head of the Mission is called as High Commissioner. Here they look after their countries interests and caring for their citizens Interests. Also, They look after the immigration of the host country citizen’s, travel needs such as visas, if necessary. Improvement of business between countries and information, cultural exchanges too done here.
