Malaysia PR Visa
Multiple-entry social visit pass is issued by Malaysia Goverment under the Malaysia My Second Home Programme to the foreigners who are fulfilling the certain criteria. This will apply to any one from a country recognized regardless of race, language, gender or age. Those who are eligible to get this visa can bring their spouse and the childern who are unmarried and dependant on them under the age of 18. And this renewable visit pass is initially issued for a period of 10 years and can be extended.Those foreigners who are married to Malaysians are not eligible for this Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) program. Although they can allod to use the Spouse Programme, which is administrated by the Immigration Department of Malaysia.
To participate in this MM2H there ar two age catogaries.
1. Aged below 50 years.
2. Aged over 50 years.
Aged below 50 years must maintain this.
1. Open a fixed deposit account of RM300,000.00.
2. After a period of one year, the participant can withdraw up to RM240,000.00 for approved expenses relating to house purchase, education for children in Malaysia and medical purposes.
3. Must maintain a minimum balance of RM60,000.00 from second year onwards and throughout stay in Malaysia under this programme.
Aged over 50 years must maintain this.
Can either choose to:
1. Open a fixed deposit account of RM150,000.00, OR
2. Show proof of monthly off-shore income of RM10,000.00 such as pension scheme.
3. Only applicants who are drawing from Government Approved Funds can be considered for the " Monthly off - Shore Income " criteria.
After a period of one year, participant who fulfills the fixed deposit criteria can withdraw up to RM90,000.00 for approved expenses relating to house purchase, education for children in Malaysia and medical purposes.
4.Participant must maintain a minimum balance of RM60,000.00 from the second year onwards and throughout his/her stay in Malaysia under this programme.
Medical Certificate.
All applicants and their dependents (spouse and children) are required to submit a medical report from any private hospital / registered clinic in Malaysia.
Medical Insurance
Approved participants and dependents (spouse and children) must possess a valid medical insurance policy which is applicable in Malaysia.
1 MM2H successfull applicants must have their fixed deposits in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) only.
2 Permission must be first obtained from Ministry of Tourism bfore withdrawing any fixed deposit.
3 MM2H visa holder can withdraw all their fixedeposit once decide to terminate it. They must obtain prior approval from the Ministry of Tourism.
Restrictions will apply for the following things.
Participants under Malaysia My Second Home Programme are not allowed to work/be employed while staying in Malaysia.
In addition, they should not participate in activities that can be considered as sensitive to the local people and a threat to the security of the country.
